The Operations Analytics Manager maximizes sales and profits through reporting, analysis and action planning. This role manages all daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting and is responsible for the maintenance and integrity of all systems and reports. This Analyst will also present their analysis and presentations to the field operations team and management every month and quarter and participate in weekly conference calls as needed. This individual is also responsible for leading the loss prevention effort at our company restaurants by partnering with our vendor to monitor suspicious activity and/or by utilizing the monitoring system/dashboards to investigate questionable activity. Company restaurant bonus administration and scenario analysis is also a part of this role. Assistance with the monthly close process is required including, but not limited to, sales and expense validation. This role will also assist with the creation, assessment, and tracking of all company store initiatives.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Review of Monthly and Quarterly Performance

  • Creation of monthly and quarterly company operations presentations

  • Presentation of results to management

  • Execute weekly follow-ups as needed

  • Development and Optimization of reporting and analysis tools

  • Develop and implement reporting and analysis tools to help measure performance against budget/targets

  • Optimization and maintenance of existing reporting and tools

  • Provide guidance/recommendations to the field team based on analysis

  • Focus efforts based on analysis/data

  • Follow-up and track results and adjust if necessary

  • Support Loss Prevention Strategy

  • Support strategy to limit internal theft at company store locations

  • Identify and report any suspicious activity to operations

  • Utilize outsourced services from the service provider if cost effective

  • Provide summary of all violations to management

  • Bonus Administration for Company restaurant only

  • Assist with the creation of any new bonus programs

  • Perform scenario analysis along with cost estimates

  • Calculate bonuses for Company Operations team every quarter

  • Communicate timeline to all parties involved in the process

  • Review bonus exceptions

  • Monthly Close Process for Company Restaurants

  • Work with the Operations Team to review and validate monthly results

  • Review Operations G&A

  • Reporting and review

  • Submit any corrections to accounting

  • Communication of policy

  • Support all company stores initiatives as needed

  • Assessment, tracking and follow-up

  • Ad Hoc Analysis as needed

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must have strong analytical skills and ability to manipulate multiple databases

  • Proficiency in using Excel, Access, PowerPoint and pivot tables

  • Demonstrated project management skills: ability to take initiative, trouble shoot, and problem solve

  • Must be organized, detail oriented, flexible and able to prioritize multiple projects with short deadlines

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Familiarity with WebEx or similar webinar tools

  • Familiar with consumer research process a plus

  • Ability to travel 10 - 35%
