Job Summary:

The Manager, Field Marketing (FMM) works closely with restaurant and above restaurant leaders of Burger King Corporation (BKC) franchisee companies to implement strategies and processes designed to enable delivery of world class operations, optimize franchise business marketing performance and achieve company targets. The FMM is also responsible for ensuring that franchisees operate within BKC standards and policies.

Essential Responsibilities:

Restaurant Execution

  • Local and national marketing initiatives

  • Create strategic local marketing plans and briefs

  • Perform deep dive market/operator anlaysis using problem solving methodology

  • Develop and implement strategic local marketing recommendations

  • Prepare briefs and manage merchandising & media agencies to execute plan

  • Have a working media grasp to provide further insight to franchisees

  • Manage local DMA (investment spending) budgets

  • Franchisee relationship management

  • Maintain extensive communication with assigned local franchisees

  • Execute field visit cadence and collect field observations to support analyses

  • Actively engage with franchisees to secure local marketing participation and improve national launch execution

  • Establish strategic alliances with local community organizations

  • Monitor the local competitor environment and marketing tactics for the restaurant industry

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field – MBA preferred

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

  • Knowledge of brand marketing

  • Skilled in controlling marketing budget and interpreting business financial statements (P&L)

  • Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience, whether orally or in writing; ability to establish effective working relationships among team members

  • 2 to 4 years previous experience; specific experience in Franchise Operations preferred

  • Knowledge of business statistics and/or data analytics preferred
