Job Summary:

The Sr. Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible for providing analytical support and guidance to the global Financial Planning & Analysis and Human Resources teams. An integral member of the RBI People Package team, the Analyst will be responsible for variance analysis, KPI measurement, target setting, performance deep dives, analytic tool creation, and analyses to provide support to all decision making. The Analyst will work collaboratively with inter-departmental teams to deliver high-quality analyses and impactful process improvements while assisting with critical projects to track and control People Compensation expense. Additionally, the Analyst will work heavily with the People Compensation budget and forecast.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Performs routine variance analysis on People Compensation expenditure with a high level of attention to detail and discretion

  • Develops and introduces meaningful new financial models and tools to support HR and Finance decision-making among senior and executive management

  • Evaluates inter-departmental processes, crafts recommendations based on data, and manages projects to achieve greater efficiency through process improvement

· Ensures compliance with internal rules and policy concerning compensation expenditure

· Assists with monthly closing and forecasting and the annual budget process

· Complies with company policy concerning confidential information

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Bachelor’s degree

· Strong analytical skills

· Strong Microsoft Excel user, including experiencewith financial modeling

· Highly attuned attention to detail

· Strong communication skills

· High level of problem solving skills to supportdata-driven project planning and recommendations

· Strong time management and organization skills

· 1 - 3 years relevant professional experience,internship experience considered
