Global Procurement Manager

Job Summary:

The position is responsible for Global Restaurant Brands International direct spending on specific F&P categories. Develops and executes sourcing strategies to optimize costs to improve returns on investments and improve supplier base performance. Influences internal business and franchise leadership to implement purchasing plans that drive maximum Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) improvement to the RBI Global system.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing full sourcing strategies to be executed for Food & Paper categories to optimize supply chain (Sourcing, Product quality, Pricing, Contingency…)

  • Ensures full alignment of Procurement strategies and execution plans with Business Leaders (Mkt/Ops/SQA/GMs) and Master Franchisees

  • Responsible for leading global tender process across selected categories; leading negotiations with appropriate suppliers

  • Responsible for ensuring the Spend Data System is up to date and used effectively for tender/negotiations/cost saving opportunities

  • Owns and Builds selected Supplier Relationships to consistently improve Supplier Performance: Cost/Service/Innovation

  • Accountable for 3rd Party Vendor (Accenture, Smartcube) Performance and Relationship

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Qualifications include:

  • At least 3 years previous experience; specific experience in Procurement or Finance preferred

  • Previous experience within QSR, FMCG or retail companies is desired

  • Exceptional business and financial acumen; comprehensive knowledge of overall business and its position in the overall marketplace

  • Developed business and financial acumen; in-depth understanding of area as it relates to other industries as a whole

  • Demonstrated ability to drive results through the management of projects, processes, and team members (including budgeting and planning)

  • Very strong Business Analytics: Data & Insight driven; Advanced problem solving skills and analytical capabilities in complex situations

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to direct and influence others at all levels

  • Excellent Microsoft Office

Position is based out of the Restaurant Support Center in Baar, Switzerlandand requires approximately 10% travel.
